takashi miike's psychosomatic thriller "imprint"
have you seen it? that has got to be another insanely brilliant flick from the bad ass director of ichi the killer (of whom i named my cat after) and visitor q. mad mad torture scenes were totally awesome and tastefully done (yet still not for the weak at heart) but i really couldnt just stand the sight of dead babies.. and not surprisingly it has that japanese alien fascination element.. ok just a hint maybe but not the shaider-esque kind of thing.. yet all in all in the books tong panoorin.
need to land a booking for my sponsoring thing or i'm screwed. well i wont naman. i await for le borg and le john joe's text within the day. baliktad. ako yung magsposponsor desperadong makahanap ng event. what party wouldnt want product and cash support? hello? love you long time! you like happy?
first leg starts next week thanks to the first world has beens.
as of late my spirit is filled with the urge to doing something.. i'm not sure if i'm really that ready to take on a new band to manage.. yet i know i wont have any trouble doing so. i wouldnt want to go beyond the context yet definitely spreading the legs of my horizons wider.. well that didnt sound really nice... i am a turnip itching to grow away from the shallow oith in search of higher ground. see the world and be a citizen of the world.. adapt a new language.. spend a few days away at a smart shop.. start waking up early.. something.
baka miss ko lang lumabas ng bansa at hindi lang dumisneyland.
before heading home partyboy and i got the drys and made a uwie for select katipunan. at the bottom row of the shop's FRIGIDAIRE all well stocked and lined up neatly was a new drink that immediately filled my first world curiousity: pomegranate tea. a fruit i first encountered in my mom's vintage hard boiund cook books. alam mo yung lahat masarap pero lahat ng ingredients di mo mahahnap dito? hanggang eggs sugar and flour lang ang kaya mong sampulin? a fruit i've read in elle magazine used to described by some random joe for the scent of the new issey miyake perfume.. at heto na sha in the palm of my hand for less than 40 bucks or so i recall. pomegranate tea we shall meet again.
do you recall how pinoys call things by their most popular brands? as i have mentioned above.. Frigidaire used to identify refrigerators. frigidaire being an olschool and widely popular brand in the sixties. hence a list of brands i have put down below =
