So I had a big ol' to-do list this weekend. I accomplished about half of it, including some of the more important things - oil change and headlight replacement, paying bills (um, looooong-overdue), and cleaning my bathroom, which was long-overdue and took for-freaking-ever. Also some smaller things, like wiping off the coffee stains on the bookshelves, and some things that weren't even on the list, like yarning another of BigAl's stuffed animals.
At least five of the undone items on the list involve garbage and/or the garage, which need to get done so that Corpuscle will have somewhere to park while he's here, so those will have to get done tomorrow night. Beyond that, I think I'm okay. I never accomplish everything on a list, because some of them are things that have nagged at me for a while but aren't really big priorities in the grand scheme of things, like "paint the spots on the ceiling in the bathroom" which has been on several to-do lists over the years.
The laundry is almost done (what was available for me to do before the kids came home has been done; the rest came to me tonight). My bedroom is half-cleaned. Most of the rest on the list is nice-to-have, not imperative.
What I have not accomplished, and really wanted to, is some journal postings, but even those are nice-to-haves. not life-deciders, as well. I still should write up my thoughts on the bullshit that happened in San Francisco, but that's more for myself than anyone else, so.
