hospitals

I've been hospitalized twice in the last 10 days. The first time they were just idiots that just didn't care. Today they tested everything and can't figure out what's wrong. And worse I had to admit Dade at the same time as me cuz he caught a cold at the same time I got whatever it hurting my heart and kidneys. :(

hospital, real life

Crap...I forgot my firefox doesn't automatically log me into LJ anymore. Anyway...

Awww...thankies! Too bad porn and sex are the LAST thing on my mind right now. I'm a little pissed off in that department, but it's a long story with no current point. I am feeling a little tiny bit better though. I had a nasty bought of nausea last night, but the medication they prescribed for it seemed to do the trick. I found out though that I can't bend at the waist or lie flat though because it seems to make my chest hurt more. I've taken to staking my pillows and lying inclined like I did at the hospital. I can't wait to have a decent night's sleep again. My current nagging issue is that a porcelain filling I have on the front of one of my front teeth has been failing me and I noticed today that a chunk broke off exposing the nerve. I've been waiting for this to happen and I think the throwing up might have hurried it on because we all know why bulimics have bad teeth. I'm heading over to my grandmother's after picking up Dade from pre-k because she offered to pay for a dentist if it became an absolute necessity because I have no dental insurance. It never fails that real life catches up with a person all at one time. I just keep telling myself I've made it through worse. And I'm determined to go through this one on my own because too many people I trusted have let me down since I first got sick two weeks ago. It always shows you who your true friends are.

You're home now, I take it? That's good; you'll rest better.

Yeah, some friends are always quick to join you for fun things, but nowhere to be found when it's not so fun things going on. I guess they'd be labeled as "casual friends", whereas your true friends will stick with you in the bad times, too.
