Thank goodness it stormed last night.
The heat index has been in the 100s for the past few days, which is rather unusual for June in KS...not so unusual for July, though. But it's felt like a barbeque pit in hell this week.
And then this morning I stepped outside and it was nice and cool...what a relief.
I really miss the swimming pool we used to have in the backyard. It was so good to have in the summer.
My sinuses feel like they're going to explode, though. My face is all puffy, they're so swollen. Want to go home, but I'm too afraid of pissing off my boss.
I'm so happy with the response I'm getting to the latest chapter of Bonne Foi. ^^ I feel like a real writer or something. Imagine that.
