EVEN MORE QUESTIONS. Gawd, I love talking about myself, don't I?

From apresmoi

1. What was one book most people hated having to read in school (high school or college) but you loved? Why?

The Scarlet Letter. I think most people just had a really hard time wading through the Hawthorne, which...yeah, I kind of -hate- his writing, but I loved the book, still. It was so symbolical and delightfully sacriligeous. I love anything that spites religious fundamentalism. Crazy ass Puritans.

2. Since your summer job is kind of random, how did you get it?

My dad used to work a second job as a janitor there, actually. He got me an application, and they're pretty big on hiring employees' kids as summer hires, so...I got a job there the summer before my senior year, then worked after school all through my senior year, then through the summer...and I've gone back each summer after that because I get a $.50 raise every time. Who's going to say no to $8.75/hour for a summer job?

3. What was the first fanfic you ever read? (Or the first one that you remember reading?)

HA. HAHAHA. H/Hr fans will know what I'm talking about. It was actually a knock-off of Mena's infamous epic. Somebody had liked the story but hated the ending, so she rewrote it, basically...and after that I was so intrigued that I read Mena's, and it was much, much worse...but that's how I got into fanfic. Kind of a miracle that I stuck with H/Hr after reading those, innit? But even though the fics sucked, I just loved the drama of it. Waaaay more interesting than R/Hr or H/G, which I did ship before fanfic.

4. What's the oddest talent you have?

Oddest? Goodness, I don't know that I have any odd talents. I can roll my tongue, but that's not really that odd... I do a pretty good imitation of John Stewart's imitation of Bush. That's kind of fun.

5. Describe your absolute perfect day?

I'm assuming we're speaking hypothetically? Ideally, it would involve Edward Cullen or Gaspard or Spunk Ransom or someone remotely Edwardish, but within the bounds of reality, I guess it would start with a nice warm shower or bath, then snuggling with someone tasty, and doing some reading and some sexing and then more snugglifying, then ice cream in bed watching a classic film like Gone With the Wind or Roman Holiday.

I'm really low maintenance.
