The Last Legion was the most RIDICULOUS THING EVER. Oh my god. I cannot believe it. I mean, from the previews, it looked ideal - Colin Firth, Romans, and Arthurian Legends. W00t! But NO. It was STUPID. Lots of deux et machina and random batshit craziness. There's an Indian warrior from the "Eastern Empire" - and India wasn't even a part of it! *headdesk* And the kid, the last of the blood line of Caesar...is named Romulus. o.0 ROMULUS? The founder of Britain, the last emperor of Rome, is ROMULUS? WTFFFF????
It was absolutely hilaaaarious, though. But not always intentionally. Rose and I were quite amused.
Oh, I just miss Rose more every time I see her. She knows all the Eddie Izzard quotes, and she understands completely when I say I want Clive Owen to yell at me and smack me around a bit. ...What? He's hot when he's angry.
We've decided we're going to spend our semester in England together, and she's going to let me drag her all about Spain, and we'll go to France together, and all the cool historical spots in England, and fwee! I'm SO happy she's going to be there with me. Nobody else at Baker could understand us like we do each other.
