Dear Johnny Damon,
I felt obliged to inform you that you are not allowed to leave the Red Sox and join the Yankees. The Yankees will force you to cut your hair and remain clean shaven. If you do join the Yankees, then I will have to hate you as I do all the other Yankees players and it will break my heart to boo you when you are playing. Believe me, I am not the only person tragically affected by this. I beg you to reconsider this and for the sake of not only my heart, but for the people of New England, do not join the Yankees.
We don't want to hate you and burn our shirts with your name on them, especially my cool one that says "what would johnny damon do... please dont make me make it and "I hate you" shirt with a sharpee. And I don't want to have to scowl at all those people who will still be wearing your shirt. Actually, I don't think there will be too many of them if your join the dark side. I mean the Yankees.
