THIS IS THE WEIRDEST/BEST COINCEDENCE THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ANYONE
So, the title of my entry is pretty bold, but don't worry the story totally lives up to it. Its straight outta 'win a date with tad hamilton':
I suscribe to this gay lifestyle/fashion/humor/music magazine called 'Instinct' and every month they put a new random gay guy on the cover. Usually its some small time gay movie actor, but in July it was a college gymnast who competes for UC berkeley named Graham Ackerman. I don't mean to exaggerate, but he had to be the most gorgeous guy I've ever seen in my life. And he was a gymnast. and he was gay. Now, here's where the weirdness comes into play...
Yesterday afternoon I went into Jamba Juice to sign my contract and get my food handler's card. Along with me, Queen Anne Jamba hired one other guy, who was there signing forms as well. We talked casually while we filled out our forms in the back room and I glanced over at his form to see what his name was. It was 'David Ackerman.' Graham was originally from Seattle, so I wondered if there was any relation between the two boys. I asked and he said yes, he was Graham's little brother. He asked how I knew about Graham, and I told him that I read Instinct and he acknowledged this. We talked for a while, then he mentioned Graham was coming up Sunday for Christmas break and they lived only about a block away from where David and I work. (This entire time I was scheming up ways to meet him.) So David said he could have Graham come in and meet me while we were working on Monday... I cooly replied that that would be "alright."
I AM SO EXCITED. SO SO SO EXCITED.
Now: Je finirai mes applications de l'universite.
