misunderstanding all you please.
it's Friday night and my friend and I are talking to a guy with red hair. Its kinda fluffy and I wonder if it will float away when a strong wind comes along. We start talking to him because he has an english accent and we don't notice at first that he is ugly. His teeth jut out kinda funny and his handshake is limp. He is a musician.
"So, are you recording a single?" my friend asks in the way of conversation.
"Well, I'm single actually. I've been single now for about five years. I mean, I've dated but girls don't seem to like me that much. And I'm quite shy. I have difficulty asking girls out." he says in a breath of rural Britain.
We nod our heads and quickly change the subject.
"Your accent is interesting," I say. "You use some interesting phrases."
As if in defense he replies, "So do you, I mean your friend said 'courting'!"
That's when I realized he thought she'd said "So, are you courting or are you single?"
