But Yearrgsworth wanted to do your 2nd and 3rd choices (Star Trek and The Purge) and he is working two part time jobs while beginning his higher education and going back to college. He also quit smoking a month and a week ago....so.. I don't nag him much anymore. LOL
So while we wait for him to find the time to get to the reviews that you showed the most interest in, I saw something on the 12 winners of all 4 'major' awards, called the "EGOT" Circle. (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, & Tony). In case you are wondering 'if there is only 12, why are 15 names down there?!?'
Because the last three, Babs, Liza, and James got one of their awards "honorarily" instead of merited competition, which makes them "Honorary EGOT's" and therefore, I put them in.
Poll Would you like to talk about the Careers of any of the 12 People to have received an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony?!?
Are you curious about the careers of some of these talented people?! Maybe you are already a fan and would like to talk about some of their successes. I am not going to spoil it and go into which one I saw a documentary on that got me thinking (and I have yet ANOTHER documentary HERE on a DIFFERENT one that I plan on watching soon to bone up, knowledge wise). But to win just ONE of those awards is a big deal. Winning two puts you into a special club. Three.. the club becomes even more exclusive...yet all four of the "biggies"?!? You gotta have some chops for that!! Anyway, I was just curious if anybody was interested in going over some of them with me? If not, that's cool too... I will push Y. to hurry up and review 'In Darkness' or 'The Purge'. But the man who has smoked a pack or more a day for two decades hasn't had one in 36 days... so if I get something thrown at me, I am coming back to you guys!!! (J/K)
