The Beatles MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR on Blu-Ray
Hello Film Fans. I have not been able to post a review in quite a while, and this one will be brief, but I had to let those interested know that the much misunderstood Beatle film MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR has been remastered, cleaned up and released on DVD and Blu-Ray!
This film is an absolute must for Beatles fans and anyone who is interested in history of the last century. The movie is filled with great songs, interesting fashion, weird characters, and shows a time when the world was a little bit bigger. Imagine the 1960s with no cell-phones and no computers or internet in every home.
Add to this world the power and popularity of the biggest band in the world: The Beatles, and then throw in a dash of innocent drug-altered craziness. This movie is like looking through a time-portal and gives you the feeling of what it may have been like to hang out John, George, Ringo and Paul during the height of their popularity.
The extras on the disc make it an amazing document of the times. This release includes footage shot but not included in the original movie, a cool commentary with Sir Paul McCartney, and more. The picture looks beautiful especially compared to previous releases of the film. It almost looks like it could have been shot last week.
