College

It's not bad. It's not great, though, either. What a long day... man, I'm glad I only have to put up with it twice a week. So I got up at 5:30 (even though I didn't sleep last night) and my mom dropped me off at the bus stop. Riding the bus isn't so bad, but then again, It isn't the best... but I have to admit that I think its much smarter than driving, parking, and then walking... plus its free. We stopped near Crockett and I was surprised that someone I knew got on the bus. haha It was Marita's brother Matt. We talked pretty much the whole rest of the trip down there. And the best part is that the bus stops like a block from my first class. Nice.

Psychology: This is going to be my favorite class, I can already tell. My professor is totally cool, and we won't be having a final exam. Psych is the only class I have a woman teacher for... but yeah, I'm pretty sure it's going to be fun.

Linguistics: The class itself is about as far away from my psych class as it gets and it's a hell of a long walk, and I had to power walk and I barely got there on time. This class would be cool... but the professor, he has the most obnoxious voice. He says 'ummmmmm' and 'soooo' A LOT. And he's really confusing. Plus this guy sucks because he has an attendence policy and gives weekly homework. But whatever, I guess I should give him more of a chance. I just somehow doubt he can change my first impression. He sort of reminds me of Baroni. At any rate, I don't think I'm going to enjoy the class.

Astronomy: looks very promising. My professor has the COOLEST accent. I love it. It's not like foreign or anything, I just love to listen to him talk. We did a whole bunch of math stuff in there today so I'm already lost, but it seems like it could be a fun class. He's also cool because he doesn't give a final either.

And I guess tomorrow I only have to show up for 50 minutes. Doesn't really seem worth it, but whatever. I'm already ready for the weekend. And the 'Lacey Diet' is back in session.

Bottom line: college isn't so bad. UT is pretty cool, except feeling all alone and not knowing anyone. And I didn't get lost at all. Go me. Now I just have to put up with about 15 more weeks of this. And I'll have another nice long break. Alright. Peace.
