You know those moments when something just slaps you in the face? Yeah. Just had one (a little while ago now. I kept this tab open). Kinda like when the day's over and you realize your fly was down the whole time.
I'm going through files I backed up from when my computer crashed. Spent a few minutes going through an old chat log. I realized 2 things. I need to pay better attention to things sometimes, (mostly when I read) and I type too damn fast.
Looking at some of the stuff I typed in this particular conversation, or even now sometimes, you'd think I can't spell. I can, I swear. I just need to slow dowwwwn.
Also, I do pay attention to and read everything I see. Sometimes I read too fast, though. Which makes me feel, if not look, stupid because then I occasionally respond to what I thought someone said, instead of what they did say. Then I re-read it, reply properly, headdesk, and everybody's happy. Or sometimes I don't realize I read it wrong til a while later.
so. moral of the story - slow the f*ck down, self.
