Happy Late New Year
Holy crap..I forgot about Livejournal. LOL! Jeeze, reading over old entries was pretty interesting. The odd part was I actually enjoyed it. Well whatever, I'll cut to the chase. Happy late new year! '09 was a big year of getting DEEP into Korean Pop, more specifically, South Korean of course. I don't know when and how exactly my addiction occured, but gradually from the end of '08, I just kept getting interested as my internet browsing became much more advanced.
Throughout the summer of '09 I really started getting into the variety shows as well. Because of this, the internet has once again become my television. It was once Anime, but really, I barely even watch Bleach now. Many will think that this is ridiculous how you can like something you can't understand. But what they don't get is language is only a barrier, just because you can't understand, it does not mean you can't feel. Now don't go and get dirty thoughts or anything, like how I did for a millisecond there but that's not important 'cause I'm trying to prove a point here. Korean pop has become very popular internationally for the past 3 years, and it's no surprise. Don't know what I'm talking about? Forget it. ^^
My revived obsession of girl group After School has been ignite once again with their comeback. Along with this huge feat, the downfall of my interest in Big Bang's ablicious R&B bad boy Taeyang was met when his popularity skyrocketed. I like to have my ideal guys to myself (eye candy), and I don't like to admit that. Meh, whatever, I still have After School to fill that void up no problem. Euohoho~
Oh...also...a day ago, After School's most popular international fan site, was sabotaged...in preparation to merge with another fan site, the site was shut down momentarily. Within that time, a confused fan on Youtube misunderstood and accused ASC for blocking him/her. This person threatened to hack and destroy the ASC server, bringing down a firewall and blocking users from around the world including myself. When that happened, before I knew of the reason, I really panicked. Ridiculous you may say, but I have an inspiration. Because of this horrible act, ASC decided to just completely shut the website down.. Their hard work and dedication has truly provided fans, and new fans alike, joy beyond what I could describe for the girls of After School. Even though they couldn't stay with us for just a little longer till the girls' first anniversary within a few more days...I thank them from the bottom of my heart, the first ever After School international fan site, to capture me with the most professional work I have ever seen.
Even so, I have found a new home at an After School international fan forum. The site itself is still fairly new, but as the days, months and years go by and the fans continue to grow, in the end I will be proud to call myself a Playgirlz to be able to watch it grow and become a strong and powerful international fan site for the girls of After School.
It's 6 in the morning and I decided to squeeze in a one new log about the year '09. It was good, it was bad, it has passed, but it's time to make even better memories. Sad how I went an entire year without posting, but that makes it all the more special doesn't it? I really don't understand why I do this either. Good night, or should I say, good morning? Ehehehe. I look forward to our journey, please take care of me, alright? ^^
