I think I'm getting sick. For the past 3-4 days I've had some weird sypmtoms. I avoid going to the doctor at all costs because I'm on medicaid, and right now they have me assigned to a doctor that is out in Avondale, Arizona and I live in PHOENIX! There are NO busses out in Avondale, and if I call Mercy Care which is my plan under medicaid, they'd tell me that they won't pay for a cab because the doctor is too far away. That is asinine. Medicaid assigned me to this whomever way the freak out there, and Mercy Care knows this and won't pay for a cab. If I break down and go to the ER for something that could be handled in the GP's office I'll get chewed out by Mercy Care and it's just a never ending cycle. I swear when August rolls around (when I can switch to a new PCP) I am going to do so. There's this guy that's not too far from me. 2 busses that I'd like to go to because most of my family has gone to this doctor at one time or another. This doctor I mean goes above and beyond.
Anyways...for the past three to four days I HAVEN'T FELT SICK. You know the general aches and pains, fevers, etc. Here's the problem. Every time I eat within an hour to three hours I feel so nauseated that I have to take a Phenergan to settle my stomach. I have a big appetite. I noticed something was kind of wrong the other day (Thursday) when my mom bought me Taco Bell and I ate three of their regular Tacos and was full. Usually (blushes) I can eat five. I was actually full after the first taco, but you know how something tastes good so you just eat more. Three tacos is well it made my mom raise an eyebrow when she heard I was full. Then the next day I had Taco Bell again, because a neighbor had bought me some when I went to TB for her. I couldn't even finish the three tacos I bought. It wasn't the food because if it was food poisioning I'd be puking my guts out. The next day I ran around and was paying bills and stopped into Jack N' the Box and got their big deal which is two tacos and a chicken sandwhich or a hamburger. The chicken sandwich is small so I was surprised that after I finished that I was full and I ended up giving my tacos to a homeless man. Today I had to finish running around paying bills, went to the post office (never go to the post office on a monday), and I was doing all this on zero hours of sleep. Then when I was on my way home from Wal-Mart I started getting nauseated AGAIN. So I stopped at Jack N' the Box again. Got the big deal again. I was glad that when I ate that I was able to finish the whole thing. But by the time I got home and took Mac out and got ready to go to bed that I was nauseated AGAIN. So I took my meds and slept for a few hours. I got up and by this time it was past my dinner time and I knew that i needed to eat (but i didn't feel hungry) so I made two cups of rice. I ate one cup of rice and lost my appetite after that.
I don't know what is going on. I don't like this whole get nauseated after I eat thing. I don't have heartburn, and I never actually threw up I just felt nauseated and this has wrecked my appetite. But I have noticed that I've been having a lot of dizzy spells lately and that sometimes my eyeballs will weird out on me. I don't want to take anti-biotics which I have on hand until I know what I'm dealing with, but that is hard to know when your stupid health plan won't even get you to the doctor.
I'd go to my friend who is a GP, but I really don't like his bedside manner, and I doubt he'd take me serious anyways. So whatever is running thru my body (I think it's the flu minus the aches and pains) please go away. I don't like being sick. If you are indeed the flu rear your ugly head so I can deal with you in the appropriate manner.
That is all.
