The Future of Food
Just by chance, B and I stumbled on a movie last night on HULU called The Future of Food. I feel like I felt after watching Michael Moore's move 911. The depth and breadth of corruption in the US and the world continues to floor me, although I'm not really sure why it should. I've had a couple of emails lately from friends around HB 875 which (and I tried to read all 117 pages) would create a new organization called The Food Safety Administration. It just shows me how much goes on in the world that I, ordinary Jane, just don't see. And now that I do see it, what can I do about it? The first clip is from youtube and talks about Hillary Clinton's connection to Monsanto folks. The second link is the movie The Future of Food, which is 90 minutes long. But well worth the viewing. All of this just scares me. The line about the more they spray, the more they need to spray is ominous. And HB 875 would basically put all the decisions into one person's lap.
