whoa. my unexpected day off went by waaay too fast. but i did nearly-finish susan's christmas present.
i say "nearly finish" because i had to use some god-awful blanket stitching to connect the lining and handles (sewing machines don't like going through 8 layers of paper. who'd'a thunk?), and since it was my first attempt at blanket stitching, it didn't turn out too well. i need to find some ribbon to cover it up with. and figure out some way to affix the ribbon on. i'm thinking glue.
