Sleep issues

 Bode slept absolutely awful last night.  He got up 3x and took a min of 40 minutes each time to get back to sleep!  All this last week he's been waking up once and then up for the day at 5am...but last night was miserable.  The first time he got up was at 1.  I nursed him back to sleep and as soon as I laid him down, he woke up and stood in his crib crying for me to pick him up again.  So I tried that one more time and got the same result.  Then I tried him in our bed.  He tossed and turned whining for a few minutes and then decided he would try to play since he couldn't get comfy I guess.  Then I tried laying on the floor of his nursery with him...no such luck.  Finally...about an hour later, I had Dan get up with him.  He held him listening to music for 33mins and he finally got him to go down.  I'm confused though. He's been acting like he wants to sleep in my arms and be close to me and that's what his problem is... but he won't sleep in our bed anymore.  Each time we take him in he thinks it's play time!  ???

We went to the market this am. and got some veggies and chicken sausage.  Bode was surprisingly fun at the market despite not getting much sleep last night though.
