break!

Dec 19, 2010 11:35

went to visit Bulgin and Slattery. I really wish i could meet up with more high school friends. In fact on Friday i went to court and waited in line for 2+ hours about the headlight ticket i still had( still miffed but I think its time to get over it). Its hard to plan for christmas when old friends are no longer friends with each other and it becomes hard to accommodate everyone. I love my close-knit group of girls, but I think I had the best group during elementary school when there were boys and girls in the group. It was fun trying to play match-maker, and getting to tease guys and what-not. I'm glad I get to talk to my brother about "what kind of girls guys like" and what not but I'd be nice to gain some insight from other guys. I actually love talking with my brother about grades, and all that good stuff. I sometimes wish I went to SC (like my bro) so I could be closer to him  but I think the decision was the right one after all. I just hated my GPA from first year, but I feel as if I am now more motivated than ever. Oops sidetracked. I can't say what I miss most about high school though... I guess I really miss the music aspect. I never have time to play my viola, and with only 1 piano room in my building I hardly ever get to play a tune. I remember going at 3 in the morning during finals week to play, but sadly they wouldn't let me. I am planning to go to chile this summer as well as cambridge. i definitely need to apply for a scholarship though, which means another essay. So many essays!!! But things are looking good; i have a job, i havefriends, i got classes i wanted, and i have finally made plans to travel. I feel guilty that I am not spending time with my folks as much though. During school all I think about is how much I take my parents for granted, now that  I am home I still take them for granted. Its christmas though! and I'm going to make this break gooooood!
