Sims Discussion: Hacks and Tricks I Use

I've had a few "how do you do that?" questions in regards to my screenshots and I thought I'd try to answer as much as I could in this separate post.  Hopefully it'll be easy to follow and provide some good information!

You will LOVE the JD animation boxes! They are awesome, as is Jaydee!! If I ever meet her in person I'm afraid I would have to bow down and do an "I'm not worthy!" a-la Wayne's World, lol!

Oh, you might want to mention that after you hit Tab for free camera mode, you can use Q to lower the camera and E to raise it. I've found both those massively useful.

And you are right about the couch makeouts and the "O"-faces you get. *snicker* Don't ask. :)

Just the other day I was thinking about your "dirty pictures". I had Daniel and Frances on the couch (making out) and Daniel had some superior O face (oh, you know I got a pic of it and I will be using it in story). My issue was making them look nude. I managed by putting them in swimsuits but. . .

Oh and you need OFB for the magisplay to work. I'm not sure if it's something that comes with OFB, though.

Yes, the Magisplay tray comes with OFB. I can't get the durn pfish transparent recolor to work. Gah. So I get creative with angles to make up for that.

Hey there! I *think* the pfish recolor for the magisplay tray only shows up when you use that little "swatch" thingie (geez I sound so technical, don't I?)

Neither could I until I remembered I'd reinstalled the game & forgotten to reinstall the CEP by Numenor. You need that to be able to recolour the tray to invisible.

Wanted to add that on that Censor hack and the Nudist hack, it will say things like "works for OFB only" and "works for Pets only." Don't worry about that. It works for everything. I can totally vouch for that. :D
