My husband is downloading a WoW free trial right now! (Well, right now he's in the bathroom, but the WoW is downloading, lol)

His username is bmogummy1.

I'm strangely excited about this. :D

I have no idea how the game works, but if you ever see bmogummy1 out and about, feel free to mess with him a little. :D Like address him by name or something. HE'LL FREAK OUT. Hee.

HAHA that would be awesome. I don't have WOW and I've never played, but I have the feeling it is something I would get crazy addicted to.

Heheheh, I've been forbidden ever to even LOOK at trying WoW, since my friends are sure I'd get addicted and they'd never see me again. But looking at peoples' pics....PRETTY. 8D

LOL that reminds me of Waterboy. IT'S THE DEBIL.

I would be more worried if I thought he'd get into it and never come out, but he's not like that. :) I used to love watching him play Black Hawk Down when he'd play it. I remember I was pregnant with Alaina at the time and we'd put the other three to bed, and then I'd make me a big old fruit smoothie and watch him play. It was fun!

Of course back when we were dating we used to go to the R&R and I'd watch him play Mortal Kombat for hours. -__-

We're not very exciting people, I'm afraid, lol.

Just a quick FYI, if you know *anyone* who owns the game, I recommend buying borrowing the discs. I used to play wow on and off for about 3 years and sometimes I'd just get lazy and say "oh it can install while I sleep".
Unless they changed it, it will takes DAYS to get that game downloaded on there. (I mean, it's not like Sims where ripping the CD is basically stealing it bc you can't play it, unless you log in you legitimate account online. Plus if you decide to upgrade after the free trial, you will HAVE to purchase the game, bc they want the serial code thing.)

Also, the username of the account is actually just the log in information. ;) When it gets all installed and what not, post up what realm/server, alliance/horde, and character's name are so people here (who play) can find y'all. :)

OMG you're right. O_o It JUST NOW got done installing what with all the patches and crap it wanted. Ugh!

My husband's at the 4-H meeting with the kids and I've been babysitting his download. I think it's done... it's asking me what realm we want and I don't know how he wants to play (PVP or Normal or what) so I'm kind of at a standstill. I think he likely just wants Normal play, though, and it's suggesting Velen realm... but I haven't clicked OK on it or anything.

I have a feeling he's going to be playing it a lot tonight. :)

Just so you know, he picks names for characters so his user name won't be his character name. If I still played, I'd help him out if he happens to pick the same server as me.

If he ever gets to play, lol! We've been babysitting the download all day today. It also ran all night last night. O_o Yikes.

All this for a free trial. I THINK NOT. IMMA GONNA BUY THAT DANG GAME IF FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN IT TIED UP MY DAMN COMPUTER ALL DAY. *huffs*

Seriously, I think it'll be fun to play. :) Something different. When he gets tired of it I'll be more than happy to jump in, lol!

There's also a free to play game that people describe as similar to WoW around if you end up liking it but don't really want to pay. Goes by the name of Runes of Magic. They're still bringing new stuff out to make it more interesting. There's Elves coming soon along with two new classes =)

Now... back to cleaning *sigh*

I'll have to look for that. :) My kids play Wizard101 and they really like it. I think it's more for kids, though... it's very restricted as far as what you can say to other players, which is good for the young ones, I think. But it looks like a lot of fun, too!
