When back to work is an improved state...
Had the most cheerful Monday morning start of work I have had in a while.... Last week's vacation just wasn't in any way, shape, or form vaction-like. Being really sick for most of it didn't help. The car accident Saturday really didn't help. At least no one was hurt. Still, not making the start of Summer party because a 16 or 17 year old rear ended the zip car I was driving to the party made me feel the whole 12 days were better forgotten. Being back at work meant a sense of both control and normalcy. And needing to dig out from a week and a half's absence means I will be happily busy for the forseeable future.
