The move...
Well I am all set to move on Friday. I have the day off & my furniture is getting delivered that day. Casey took the day off to help me, she has a truck. We need to get over to Melanie’s to pick up the entertainment center she’s giving me for $20 (that she never used because her TV is too big). Dad is going to get Two Men & a Truck for Saturday to haul the big stuff like futon, chest, tables, mattress, ent center, & a few of the plastic bins. We can bring the ent center over to my house & the movers can take it to the apartment & haul it up the steps. Dining room set is being delivered on Saturday. Got a hold of DTE, now I need to call Comcast. I also need to get my mattress. Maybe I’ll start looking tonight and if I buy before Friday I’ll just pick it up by then. I can have Casey meet me at Art Van first thing & we can bring it to my house from there then start taking boxes over & stuff. Christy is going to help me hang stuff and mom will help unpack, line shelves/drawers, etc. She’s washing my towels, sheets, etc. right now so they will be done & I won’t have to do it there. She’s also gong to take me grocery shopping. I won’t need a lot of dinner groceries (food) cuz I’ll probably eat there a lot since it’s close, and as she says, she has to cook anyway. I’ll probably just eat at home on gym nights, and then when I go out. I got a computer from work, they were giving away 15 for free. They did a drawing since 41 employees were interested in taking one…I was lucky enough to be one of the recipients (why was I not this lucky in Vegas!? LOL).
I just hope I can do this…I’ve always been one to throw money around like it grew on trees, now I have to get used to saving whatever I can…
