So, we are FINALLY moved in here at the new farm!
At this point, I still have my shop FULL of boxes everywhere. But I do have the kitchen, living room, dining room, bathrooms, our bedroom, the cat room, and the dog/mud room reasonably together nd certainly livable and functional. I even have a special little area setup right in the middle of the house for when I babysit my grandbabies ... it's perfect. Actually, I pretty much had the bulk of that all done before Thanksgiving and we hosted Thnakgiving here for the entire family. Hubby says Christmas has "exploded" in our house this year ... I've *so* enjoyed decorating this year in our new home.
Now, it's time to begin setting up my shop here. I've already applied for all necessary permits and have been all approved. Just need one more piece of paper turned in and I'm good to go.
The goats, geese and chickens are all loving the barn and the 10 acres of fenced pasture. Right now, I also have two of my son and daughter-in-law's horses out back in the pasture too. The dogs and cats are loving the free roam of the large house and all genuinely seem truly even happier here.
I have a long way to go yet as to the sunroom that will be incorporated as both with the private home and the shop. That is where I will doing some of my minor gardening along with more involved gardening out in the already preped garden outside. I will also be putting in fruit trees and berry bushes. The sunroom will also have my porchswing and two rockers out there also for the warmer months. But they can be left out there permanently because the sunroom is also enclosed with windows and doors that can be closed in the winter time so it is all protected from the weather.
I also have a brand new breeder buck (goat) that hubby bought for me a few weeks ago More about him later.
Right now, need to go ... hoping all had a wonderful Christmas holiday!!!
