I blame Jenna for this entirely.

Next fic I write? SYTYCD AU. Based off two videos. With Neil Haskell /Kent Boyd.

Why? Because the damn show had them do a baseball dance and then a BREAK UP DANCE. WHY? WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO ME SHOW I DON'T ACTUALLY WATCH?

I KNOW. Well, I don't know know yet... because I've seen like six dances off of the show... total? And I don't know the different choreographers that well at all. But the break up dance... omg. That was just about the end of me. Kent's face genuinely looks broken hearted and Neil looks all guilty and omg. OMG.

... I blame Jenna.

Have never watched SYTYCD but jut checked these two out on YouTube and jesus the Break Up Dance is beautiful!

I don't watch the show -- at all -- but Jenna showed me the two pieces and I agree. The Break Up nearly killed me. I just. OMG.

Want to add in that Neil is a royal? (; Their lust/hate chemistry was insane.

Also I'm sure Jenna filled you in but the choreographer of the break up dance? Most of the SYTYCD comm believes it's about him and another contestant on the show from his season, Ivan. Just to make it even angstier.

Yeah Travis and Ivan were like bff during their season. Ivan did date another girl from SYTYCD for awhile but he was roommates with Travis and they did everything (like dance workshops etc) together. Popular conjecture is that Ivan ~ experimented with Travis for a little bit and then was like JK I am definitely into ladies and then bam friendship over.
