"whoopy once, whoopy twice, whoopy chicken soup with rice!"

Even if it's only like 100 words a day, I have to write something everyday between now and the end of the year. It isn't like it is that much of a hardship, there are barely three months left but damn it. I'm GOING TO DO THIS.

Clearly, though, I have to remember to write every single day and get over the hump of, "What if it isn't good?" Well, it ( Read more... )

You can ABSOLUTELY do this. People do NaNo every year (even me!), and that's just one month to do 50K. You've got three months! And if you are inspired, it'll go even smoother. I have every faith in you! *\o/*

I am going to totally try Nano. Granted, I'm not too eager to actually do Nano completely with the rules or anything this year but I have a half assed hope of doing 1667 words a day in November. It would definitely be a word boost. All I'd have to do is something like... 10k either way in December and October. That's not too bad... um. I think? I'm already 1/10 of the way to 10k for this month! ;)

Thank you though. :)

Well, I mean, you *could*, but I don't really think anybody needs that kind of pressure. Certainly you can write 100 words a day, though, and there's no shame in that goal at all. But as you know, I punk out on NaNo every year, so it's not like I'm really a go-getter in the word count department.

I think I'm going to go into it like this. It's October? If I can get to like 20 k for the month? I'll count myself ahead of the game and convince myself I can do Nano. (Not original fic though, that just doesn't work with me.) But the 100 words a day might be my ultimate goal. I've done it three days running. ;) Baby steps, you know? &Hearts;
