Hmmm. Getting hung up on the first question, this bodes well. Either way, this meme definitely peaked my interest. I always feel like I know the people on my flist but then I realize I don't know that much about them. So here we go. Thirty days to get to know me, I urge you to do the same! My name is Elizabeth Michele. My hebrew name is Elisheva Shoshana (try saying that three times fast) but only my mom calls me that. It's her goto "you're in trouble missy" warning. I've about a million nicknames, all variations of my birth name plus just random ones (MAGGIE. Don't ask). I'm twenty six, a Pisces and yes I actually do believe in your sign meaning something. Well, theoretically. I am very much a Pisces. I'm overly emotional, artistic and take things you say way more personally than you actually intend them to be. Right now I am an on call substitute teacher at a preschool and also looking for a real job.
I'm married. His name is Timothy, he is tall pale and handsome and sickeningly my best friend. We met at NAU, moved in together on our first date and pretty much haven't looked back. We got married May 11, 2008 in a kick ass ceremony that I spent the day puking through. (Stomach flu! It was still awesome, best day of my life, no joke.) We are trying for a family. That’s in here a little bit.
He has made me into a sports fan, which is a fair trade because I've made him see slash EVERYWHERE. I love baseball the mostest, my Diamondbacks are my heart even when they break it. I love NHL (Capitals and Coyotes! ♥), NBA (Suns!) and am getting into Soccer (Go Fire and Sounders!). I still don't get American Football.
I’ve been in fandom since I was 9! Of course, that is kind of loose definition wise. I was just writing in a notebook and passing it back and forth with my best friend. Then at about 12 I stumbled onto the interwebs and saw that OMG OTHER PEOPLE DID IT TOO. I was head over heels and pretty much yours since then. I became cinderlily about 8 years back. I will be cinderlily till… um. Infinity.
My tastes vary in fandoms, but mostly I go for slash. It's really hard for me to ship a pairing without canon (not saying they have to be together but they have to have chemistry, I can't just ship for pretty's sake, you know?) I love to squee over the small stuff, though, so I guess it doesn't take much for me to consider it canon. ATWT is spoiling me though, even if they barely give the guys screen time.
I have a sister, an adopted when she was an adult sister, a brother, and six siblings-in-law. I am an Aunt four times over and expect two more by the end of the year. I am truly family oriented, but my friends are my family. I love and when I love I cling on. My momma is one of my best friends. My dad and I struggle but love each other.
