Fanmix :: (Luke Snyder/Dr. Reid Oliver) "everything else" EP
For the three people on my flist who are Luke/Reid fans, LOOK! A fanmix! For the rest of you? LOOK! MUSIC!
I really liked todays episode. I think we saw a part of Reid that hasn't been shown that often and the line in particular that jumped out at me was when asked if he made a decision he answered, "Between my calling in life and everything else?" It called back to mind the part where Reid told Luke, "All I am is a doctor. Without it I truly don't have anything else to hold onto."
So yeah, they don't have a relationship as such, but it's clear (to me at least) that Luke is something Reid knows is important. Outside of his 'calling' he considers Luke to be his 'everything else'? *swoon* ♥
And I don't just let those things go, I CLING. I write! I fanmix. ;)

And I start my day thinking about what I've thrown away.
Could I push rewind?
The credits traverse, signifying the end
But I missed the best part.
Could we please go back to start?
Forgive my indecision

My Luke/Reid song. It fluctuates on the day as to who is directing it at who but today it was all Reid. His face when Luke left, his sound reason and logic when Luke was being a bit of a brat. Yeah, this is Reid to a T.

But all the logic and rules can't change the fact that Reid really was hoping for a future, and is willing to fight for it. (Hopefully.)

This one is definitely my song for Luke to Reid. I see his anger fading quickly, and just the sudden realization of everything hitting him like a mac truck. He and Noah are over. Reid's chosen the hospital. His life is falling down around him and the easiest person to blame will be Reid. (Also, not for nothing, but I'd LOVE a fanvid to this. ;))
