Have I ever admitted to my first kiss thing? I love them. Seriously. They are absolutely and positively my favorite thing to read, ever. I could probably write about 100 for each pairing I ship, though most of them would be so banal I think I would bore most people to tears. That being said,
idolmetaprompted with : "write about the first kiss of your pairing of choice! Bonus points if you do not use the word TONGUE." So this isn't ACTUAL fic but um. Self indulgent fluff. (ALSO! AI friends, come invade
idolmeta with me? It's fun, swears!)
Title: no sudden revelations
Pairing: David Cook/David Archuleta
Rating: G
Summary: David Archuleta's first kiss. (Not even two drabbles, 187 words.)
Not that he had spent much time thinking about what his first kiss would be like, not really, but David would be hard pressed to say he expected it this way. It was too bright out, first of all. He kind of thought that it had to be at night or inside, but it was clear and sunny and out in the open. He certainly hadn't expected it to be in front of two hundred or so people he didn't know nor didn't care about.
Then again he also thought it was going to be with a girl, and David Cook was most definitely not one of those.
So his first kiss was outside of a bus in the middle of a sea of people on a bright LA afternoon. It wasn't monumental or life changing or followed by a pronouncement of man and wife. It was quick and soft and kind of scratchy but nice, really really nice and followed by a warm smile and "Missed you, Arch."
Really, his first kiss was perfect in it's own way. (And it was what followed that really mattered.)
*Here is the song the title
No Sudden Revelations came from. It is short but omg, so Cook and Archuleta <3
