So while driving around today my iPod shuffled onto Michael Buble's version of "I'm Your Man". I was reminded once again just how much I love love love that song. Okay, so it might not be the sentiment that a lot of people are looking for in a love song (basically saying you need me to give you all of this to be happy or whatever) but it is sweet in its intentions. I love it. I also was reminded of a video ... someone?... recced me like a year ago that was a WOMAN singing it and all about Femslash and I refound it after a little digging and OMG SO FREAKING HOT YOU GUYS. Somehow a woman's voice? Does this song good.
Here is the video to watch. I have a question, anyone know who is singing it? I have the Leonard Cohen version and the Michael Buble (obviously) but I don't think either of them sounds like a girl. ;) Your help would be really appreciated! (I might even, you know, crawl to you baby and beg at your feet! ;)) Well, duh. Wait to the end of the video, Liz. It is Patricia O'Callaghan. Go Team Liz!
In other news, we saw "Earth" last night and "Duplicity" today (with my mom! We took her out on a date. I love my mom.) "Earth" was interesting, if a bit sad and weirdly framed and "Duplicity" was like "Ocean's Eleven" mind fuckery with out the "Ocean's Eleven" AHA! moment. Oo. Also, we saw two little kids chasing ducks and my mom quizzed us on ducks coloring and genders. (Timm passed with flying colors. Its good that one person in this marriage paid any attention in high school.)
