Is it spring yet?
So far this week has been a more social and active time for me. Don't get me wrong-- I still hate February. I think maybe it's analogous to a hibernating bear crawling out of their warm winter cave to take a look around out there and see if perhaps spring has arrived. Anyone got any berries?
This time of year always makes me feel a little restless.
So on Monday I met a friend for coffee in the morning. Tuesday I went out to a lunch with another friend. Wednesday I went down to the friends' gallery where I had been taking the mosaic class. The class is done, but alas my giant pot project is not. So I took my pot home. I found myself saying over and over again, before heading down there, I need my pot. Pretty funny how that sounds, huh?
When I got the pot home, in a great fit of creative glee, I worked on my pot for several hours that night. I have to say I like it better than my first project, the paver. However, I wouldn't say I'm thrilled with this pot either. It seems to me the paver should be titled,"Having fun with color," and the pot should be titled, "Having fun with shapes." Not this is a bad thing, I just find it funny.
Have I somehow gained another hobby? Or perhaps it's just a passing fancy? Time will tell.
