My New Love
I have a new love in my life. He is handsome. He is sleek. He is very, very shiny.
Meet my new laptop! And why yes, I did name him Spike. :-)
He's a combination birthday/Mother's Day gift from my very generous husband (who conveniently forgot that the U2 tickets were supposed to be my gift). And he (cinderhub, that is) will be treated very, very well for the foreseeable future. Not that he isn't already, but you know what I mean. ;-)
I ended up going to Best Buy and getting a Compaq Presario V2000 series. It has an Intel Celeron M Processor 350, absolutely gorgeous 14" high-def, BrightView widescreen display, 60 GB hard drive, 512 MB RAM, and internal wireless. Perfect for my needs, and all for the very reasonable price of $879 (plus a $30 rebate, for a total of $849 plus tax. And my wireless connected with the click of a button, too.
