That's what I'm hoping too -- that Noah is the one with Daryl, and that Carol's a plant! I loved this episode! I'm using a lot of exclamation marks!
I did always like Beth (likely partly because I saw Emily Kinney in Spring Awakening on Broadway and chatted with her at stage door and she was such a sweet girl, so I was predisposed to care about Beth), and I LOVED her in this ep. I loved how when she found Keisha Castle-Hughes in the office (surprised that actress did such a small part; when I saw her name in the credits I figured she was a new recurring character), she didn't cry or freak out, and just stepped over the body to keep looking for the key. (I totally thought that key was in the lollipop jar!) And it was sweet justice seeing the rapist get eaten. :D
Love Noah (I think that's the kid who did the Chris Rock sitcom, right?). Also great casting on the doctor and the cops. Nice to have a female villain in charge for a change. I was totally engrossed by this ep!
And gah, next week is the DC crew? Not that I don't care about them, but I need more of this storyline! Of course it's a good sign we're chomping at the bit. :)
I'm still kind of meh on Beth and on Emily's acting as well (sorry! nothing personal, I'm sure she's a lovely person. Maybe it's the fact that the rest of the ensemble is so exceptional.) But I did like her in this episode and that scene with the body on the floor in particular really showed who Beth is now. I'm looking forward to her and Carol kicking a little ass together!
The DC crew is in the previews for next week. I suppose it could be split episode between the two storylines, but haven't seen any indication of that yet. I do enjoy Abraham and crew, though.
