I received some lovely mail in my mailbox yesterday - it seems the nomination fairy has been making the rounds again! Many thanks to the kind person who nominated "Haunted," my Spike-friendly B/A story, at the Fang Fetish awards.
And thank you also to the lovely who nominated "Collateral Damage" at the LLGA'a.
And last night was one of my favorite nights for TV:
So, I was wrong - Jack's dad is a bad guy after all. I expect someone to murmur the name "Rollo Tomassi" any time now. (and bonus points for whoever gets that reference - and it's actually sort of a double reference, I just realized). Poor Jack - his face when he found out his own brother was responsible for David Palmer and Michelle's deaths. President Palmer, part 2 made me proud, but he never should have selected Powers Boothe for his running mate. I forsee much badness. And Morris! I knew it would be someone we had seen before on the show, but I didn't think it would be him. The anticipation waiting for the picture to show up on the screen was well done, I thought. After a great first 4 hours, I felt the show had kind of hit a speed bump the last couple of episodes, but now it seems like they are finally hitting their stride. I can't wait for next week - two hours!
So it was Nathan after all! I guess I'm batting .500 with my predictions. Hiro was fabulous, and Chris Eccleston is love. I have no in-depth analysis, just lots of warm fuzzies. :-)
In other news, I have written, um, a few thousand words on the post-apocalyptic fic, but I still want to finish "Present and Unaccounted For" before I post a new story. ::puts nose to grindstone::
