Happy Thursday

It is another in a series of gorgeous days here in the great Pacific Northwest. I send sunshine to the poor water-logged Northeasterners on my list. I mean, I know from rain, but this is ridiculous.

I just finished Chapter 6 of the wip, and have sent if off to my lovely beta. So, hopefully will have something to post soon - editing always takes me a while. And it's kind of a long chapter (sorry, mommanerd!). I really enjoyed writing Wesley in this chapter, a character I love but don't write often. Note to self: more Wesley.

Watched a bit of TV last night. I love my new DVR, BTW:

It was the outcome I expected, though I was surprised the vote was so close. The finale is really too close to call now, I think - it all depends on how Taylor and Kat perform next week. I'm kind of 'meh' on both of them, but that won't keep me from watching.

I enjoyed the cutting back and forth, showing us how Michael was driven to commit murder. And it was interesting to see more of the Others, who are so very creepy. "They're not what they seem. They're pretending," Walt says. Hmmm... Also, he looks like he's grown about a foot since he was captured. *g*

Loved that bonding moment between Sawyer and Jack. Sawyer is so very lonely, which is almost entirely his own fault, and it's kind of sad yet funny that he thinks Jack and Kate are sleeping together. "Caught in a net." Hee. Sawyer, dude, Jack is not imaginative enough to come up with a metaphor like that. ;-) ::loves Sawyer:: Of course, that threesome doesn't remind me of Spike/Buffy/Angel. No, not at all.

Also? Sayid! How awesome is he?

Two hour finale, right?

And last but not least, wishing a very Happy Birthday today to wisteria_! I hope it's a good one, alanna.
