Drabble
Cross-posted to open_on_sunday, the prompt this week was "in like a lion, out like a lamb." This one is Season 6 Spike/Buffy.
"You're a wildcat."
In a century of existence, he'd never felt anything near her ferocity, her raw passion. Pain and pleasure mingled as her nails clawed his back and her teeth bruised his skin. She was the hunter, and he her prey. Her kisses were an attack. She ate him alive, and he reveled in it.
But ardent as his passion was, it was those rare moments after that he treasured. When she was sated and pliant, too exhausted to move. When she let him gather her close, stroke her softly and whisper in her ear.
"There's my little lamb."
"You're a wildcat."
