On the topic of old friends
Guess who is back from his galavant to Arizona?! RYAN!!!!! YAYYYYY! For anyone who doesn't know, ryan is my old buddy from my original Starbucks store. We were pretty good flippin' friends there, always had the best damn time when we worked together. Last summer for 4th of July a whole bunch of us starbuckiens all went campin together for the weekend on Lopez island (like REAL camping, no showers or nothing) and we had the best damn time. Well a few days after that Ryan took off for the big AZ to run his bar with his cousin. Well they didn't get along on some points, so long story short, he's back, and back at a starbucks near you. He's in a different district, and I had heard he was back yesterday, but luck would have it on my lunch break today he called our store to get some lids (my current store, 366, is his original store....his name is still written on the pole in the back room cuz he was SUCH a cool kid....note sarcasm? lol) so we got to chat for like 10 minutes, catch up a bit, god I missed that kid!!! Soooo, he was trying to get a few shifts at his store covered, so I told him I'd work the Saturday one if it was with him....so he rearranged his sched. a bit, and we're closin together on Saturday, and I am freaking STOKED! I haven't been that excited about anything in a while, especially not WORK! Its going to be a fun fuckin' time, considering Ryan is like the laziest person ever when it comes to work and closes, so it'll be good times, and great oldies lol. Anyways, I'm happy he's back in town finally! w00t for McCalla! Anyways just had to spit out my excitement on that one. It feels soooo good reconnecting with old friends, and people you once cared about and were even somewhat close with. Cool beans.
