Stuff
Had 2 days off work in a row. Yesterday my friend Sylvio was off too, so we decided to get the bus to Hollywod Beach, as neither of us have been there. It was fun riding the bus into uncharted territories, and going on long scenic walks. At one point, we'd started off walking on N. Ocean Drive, and by the time we gave up and waited for a bus, we were on S. Ocean Drive!
We passed the hotel that my dad is going to stay in when he visits! That was a coincidence, so I stopped in to have a look around.
We decided to walk to downtown Hollywood, and had to stop off at a 7-11 to buy suncream and drinks. The weather had looked bad when we left early in the morning, but once we got there it was well in the 80s!
After walking a long time without seeing anything interesting (I think we gave up a little too soon and hadn't quite reached the centre of everything) we got the number 1 back to downtown Ft Laud and took a walk along Las Olas Blvd. I've never been there before, so it was interesting. I bought some clothes from a Brazilian store. They had a fantastic pair of jeans there (I love Brazilian jeans!) but they were $225. I will buy them though!
After walking to the Riverfront, we got on one of those cruise tours. The houses were amazing. The people who live ther must be rich as hell! Mr Maroone's house was there! Our captain said he wasn't too keen on the Maroone ads, but I love 'em!
After that, we went to Cheeburger Cheeburger back on the Blvd for something to eat. My boyfriend joined us there, then he drove us back home and we went to Gatsbys for the half price Martini night.
Today was less interesting. I couldn't wake my boyfriend up until the afternoon, so the day was wasted. He drove me to the mall before he went to work, so I just did a little shopping. I bought a new pair of trainers and threw out my usual pair cos he hates them! The new ones are cool - they were $50 in Foot Locker and only $40 in Lady Foot Locker! Bargain!
Bought 2 new handbags. A cream and tan Guess bag (I've been told it's no more than 2 weeks old and only Burdines sell them, so I love it even more now! And a pink one by Baby Phat with chains as handles. I'm surprised I only bought 2, as it was a handbag sale!!! I think I did quite well by not wasting all my money!
Bought some cds too .... Ludacris, Kanye West, and ..... Eurotrip!!!
The Eurotrip cd is so cool! I saw the film 3 times in total!
The CD has the European version of Scotty Doesn't Know. Bonus! I've just been playing both versions on repeat!!
