My life story... (PS I just got back from a holiday in Key West!)
Sorry I haven't been online for a while - don't have internet access in my new place!
I've decided to take up Spanish again!
I'm really liking Pharrell Williams, Jay-Z, Neptunes / N.E.R.D. "Frontin" cos it sounds like a Geordie accent like mine when he does the chorus!
My new apartment is finally looking like home! And a cool home too! The bitch finally moved out, so we got to move into our bedrooms. Sebastian has his own room and I'm sharing with Chris.
We have loads and loads of furniture - every time I walk in there's something new there!
We started off with 1 bed, no tv, no kitchen equipment etc...
We now have 2 sofas, 4 beds, 2 tvs, a playstation, 2 microwaves and 2 toasters - among other stuff! I have no idea where it's all coming from!
The same goes for our fridge... ITS FULL OF ALCOHOL!!!! I DONT KNOW WHERE ITS COMING FROM!!!
We have a stack of bottles on top of the fridge, bottles INSIDE the fridge, and even bottles in the freezer!
No idea whose they are, but its all good!!! It's just like being back at uni, but better!
Key West was great. It was boiling hot the whole time, and I had my photo taken at random tourist spots like the Southernmost Point (I was closer to Cuba than Miami! That was so weird!) and Mile 0. Bought the mandatory holiday souvenirs, including a pot pipe shaped like a Miami Dolphins helmet!
The ride down was scary as hell - we went on this road that was like the road that every horror movie ever made was filmed on - Jeepers Creepers 1 and 2, I know what you did last summer, and the texas chainsaw massacre.
I would really love to move down there but it's so small, and I'm seriously scared of tornados and shit.
The stay in the hotel was free, because it was with our company. The rooms are usually like $225 a night, so that was cool.
Saw a Dolphins game on tv for the first time the other night. Saw all the guys who'd been chatting me up and stuff. I was like wow! They looked so hot in their uniforms! I was like staring through the helmets going "That looks like Rod! Oh my god, it IS him!" That was a weird experience!
Went to a bar the other day for Chris and Sebastian's birthday. I assumed it was a club because guys had to pay to get in, but apparently it was just a bar! Chris got in for free cos he'd just turned 21 about an hour earlier!
Me and Sebastien both fell over - he landed on his back, and I landed on my knee. I didnt even notice I was injured until we were in the car and I saw blood all over my foot. I wondered where it was from, so I pulled my trouser leg back a little. The blood went further up, so I kept pulling the leg up a little more each time until I got to my knee, saw i'd cut it open and realised that's where all the blood was coming from!! Chris was like "Did you not even notice?" I was like "Course not, I'm hard, I'm from Newcastle!"
I really miss Mark. Wish he was here - Freddy vs Jason was so crap, I really needed him here to take the piss with me like everyone else in the cinema was doing! It was such a Thriller and Claire movie!!!
