I am entirely incapable of saying how much I love this, except it so perfectly illustrates why he'll fall for her. :)

He should've expected this. It had always been a matter of time.
Also, I asked one of my friends to make me an icon with almost exactly that wording. She's been too busy with RL to make it yet, but at some point I shall get it and be happy! Cause it's so them.

Now let's see if my five foster kittens will allow me to write a reply to this. They are trying to sit on my netbook. Please forgive typos. Anyway, I am very complimented that you liked this. And believe it captured why the Doctor fell for her. Sometimes I have a hard time feeling I illustrate that properly in my fics because I feel like saying, "Well, duh. Of course he loves her, she's the most BAMF thing to ever BAMF." Strangely enough, that's a really hard line to fit into a Doctor Who fanfic. Though if anyone would say it, I'm thinking Amy. Anyway! I'm glad you liked that quote and I look forward to seeing the icon you already had requested that had a similar line in mind. I already love the icon you used here so I look forward to that one too. First of all, I know exactly what you mean. And secondly, then I think this ficlet actually comes pretty close: So I Shall Unravel My Love. As you say, it's Amy who has to say it. :)

As for icons, then I am addicted. Esp to Doctor/River ones. LJ's gonna take alllll my money!

Thank you SO MUCH for recommending that fanfic. I just adored it. Not only did I like it because it exemplified why I worship River, but it also made me like Amy even more (something I've struggled with this season because of characterization issues). I'm definitely going to be recommending that to others. Especially since so much of Amy's dialogue is essentially what went through my head when I first saw River (the Angel eps, which were the reason I got into DW). First, totally wanted to grow up to be her. Now, after having seen all of her awesomeness to date, it's graduated to me telling people they must watch the show for this character because I want to have her babies. They know I'm mostly joking. Mostly
