Ho Ho Ho!
So it is Christmas time again!
Had a great weekend. Christmas Eve was hectic as usual, but we managed pretty well with Mum out of action.
Christmas Day was a little sombre as Mum was taken to see her surgeon, and we thought she was going to get admitted to hospital. But he just cleaned her wound and sent her home, and is going to organize to have a vacuum bandage put on. It was supposed to happen today, but things got delayed, so it won't be until the middle of the week.
Anyhow, so while they were at the doctor, Tracey, Bodie and I made up 2 pavlovas. We did a pretty damn good job, too!
We then decided to have some lunch, as it was about 2:30pm by this time. We got all the food out and sat down with the grandparents and cousin and ate our lunch, but without all the trimmings like bon bons and party poppers. After we had finished, Dad called and said they were coming home, so we were pretty happy about that!
Once they got home, we did the presents at about 5:00pm. Everyone got spoilt and the room is still filled with opened presents everywhere!
The rest of the night was just spent relaxing and playing around with our gifts.
Had a great Boxing Day today, as Daniel, Tracey, Aaron, Corey and I took the jetskis out for some biscuiting, then we cruised around and pulled up on the beach where it was flat and blue as anything, so we got in the water with our PFD's on and just floated around for about an hour. It was amazing! I hadn't swum at the beach in years! So it was a very good day :D
So, a run down on presents now!
Daniel: A KitchenAid mixer!!!, spare bowl and bowl lids, and a jumbo cupcake cake mould.
Mum & Dad: The complete series of 'Friends', cordless LED light, electric frypan, brownie pan, 'blissful brownies' cookbook, sewing kit, silicone microwave mat, 'What is my dog thinking?' book, 'The final days of Michael Jackson' book, body wrap blanket (kinda like a snuggie), enviromentally friendly shopping bags, 2 hair wraps.
Tracey: Pink & black car seat covers, fondue set, 4 silicone cupcake molds, bottle of Zibibbo.
Bodie: Pitched in with Tracey for the car seat covers.
Aaron: Sennheiser wireless headphones, chocolate liqueurs.
Charlie: Coffee mug, diamonte thong keychain, bottle of Zibibbo.
Dan's parents: Beautiful blue necklace & earrings, shower stuff.
So yes, lots and lots of good stuff!
