Christmas
Far out I haven't updated in a while.
Yet again, Christmas has come and gone. And as always it seems to go by faster and faster each year.
I'm pretty bummed because I didn't really get into it this time. It just didn't feel like Christmas for some reason. Most probably because we didn't decorate the house until Christmas Eve, hehe.. whoops.
Anyhow, Mum and I were up until 4am cleaning and preparing food. Got up at 8:00am Christmas morning, got ready and then Dan and I headed to his parents place to do presents. We then returned to my house, and I went down with my family to see Grandma for 15 minutes.
Came back and started preparing stuff for lunch. We did presents, which went for an hour, then once that was over we had lunch. I was pretty buggered after eating, but was determined not to have a nap as it seemed like a waste of Xmas Day.
The afternoon was spent just lazing around and drinking. Tracey left at 6:00pm to head back to Perth as she was flying out for Hamilton Island later that night.
Charlie and Gareth came over at 8:00pm to do presents. They left just after 9, and Dan left at the same time.
The rest of the night was just spent nibbling and playing around with presents, then heading off to bed around 1:00am.
Now for a rundown on presents I got..
Mum & Dad: 10.2" digital photo frame, tiger head that hangs on the wall, cupcake creations, microdermabrasion kit, Guess purse, citrus juicer, wine glass, heart pendent, bracelet, keyring, camping stool.
Dan: 15" HD Pink Dell laptop with matching pink mouse and carry bag!!!
Tracey: Doughnut maker, photo frame filled with photos of our family, light up martini glass, jewellery hanger, kustom thongs.
Bodie & Sarah: Dashmat for my car.
Aaron: George Foreman slow cooker.
Charlie: Ceramic cupcakes filled with lollies, 4 tempting treat cookbooks.
Dan's parents: $100 cash, makeup case filled with makeup.
Belinda: Cocktail shaker, wine glass identity clips.
Nanna & Poppa: $50 cash.
Natasha: Cow teddy with bathwash.
I think that was everything. I was very spoilt this year, especially from Dan! He had so many cool things added to the laptop to make it the bees knees.
Today I went out and bought an 8 piece stainless steel bar tool set, and champagne and wine stoppers with some of the money that Dan's parents gave me. Slowly getting a nice little bar/cocktail set together :D
