Finally.. a CAR!

I'm pleased to announce that I am now the proud owner of a brand new black ASTRA CDX!
I was most definitely not planning on getting one of those when I went up there! I was all set on getting the Barina, but Bodie and Mum kept coming back to the Astra in conversations, so we went and checked it out.
I test drove it... it was pretty nice. Completely different feel to what I'm used to, but I'll get accustomed to that.
I was really worried about the 2-star safety rating of the Barina. The Astra has 4 - so I'm a lot more happier with that.
The Astra has a heap more features. It has cruise control which I wanted. Fog lamps which are so cute! 6 stacker CD player. 6 airbags instead of the 2 in the Barina. There is so much more that I'm happier about in the Astra than there was in the Barina.
Bodie also got extras chucked in. I got tinting - the darkest legal tint, floor mats, front and rear mud flaps, and a full tank of fuel.
I also got paint, rust, paint glaze and fabric protections added on. So with them added on, all up I paid $28,300. Mum and Dad have paid $8,000 off it, so I now have a loan for $20,300.
I have had so much information thrown at me today, and have gone thru so many different emotions.. that my head is a bit frazzled at the moment. I'm exhausted.. but so excited at the same time :D And I'll finally get to take it home early next week!
