I heard a radio commercial, this morning, for the mystery cougher. All over the US people will be coughing, we are entering cold and flu season after all. However a select few of them are authorized to give you up to one million dollars if you offer them a Ricola cough drop. As far as promotions go this one is kind of neat it promotes kindness, and barring the people that actually go out for the expressed purpose of finding this "mystery cougher” the person who wins is probably just going to be a nice person. But how much is it going to suck when this nice person offers the MC a Halls, or a generic brand cough drop?
In Ellen news:
Work is going well, it is getting easier which is a sure sign I'm about to take on more responsibility. I have my own business cards! It's so cool; I'm the "Office Manager"; pretty official sounding, no? This is the first title I've had that didn't have the word "associate" in it, so I'm pretty excited about it.
I have a date next weekend. I am very excited about it. This guy is a much higher quality person than the last one.
I'm actually going home, to Maryland, for Thanksgiving. I haven't spent Thanksgiving with my mother in, maybe, ten years. It's been so long, in fact, that I spent about a week trying to think when a good time to go home for a visit would be. Thanksgiving didn't even occur to me, my roommate suggested it. While I'm there I'll get to meet my Mom's new dog, which will be fun, and my brother's girlfriend, which I am looking forward to, greatly. I'm told she reads this from time to time, so *waves* Hi Emily, I look forward to meeting you.
I spent last weekend dog sitting, which was fun, those two dogs are just awesome, and they helped me get my dog fix. Some day I will own my own, but now is not a good time, so I just mooch off of other people for the time being. My fish survived the weekend, which I was happy about. I had forgotten to make arrangements for him in my haste to pack for the weekend and still be on time to work, yet another reason why it's not the right time for me to have a dog, or kids for that matter. Although I like to think, I'd prioritize my kids higher than I do my fish, I can't really tell until I have one.
I'm going hiking tomorrow with some friends, that should be fun, and it might snow on Monday. I'm not as pleased about that. My favorite season is fall; I am most definitely not ready for winter.
Well that's about it kiddos. Have a great weekend and I'll catch you all later.
