(no subject)
The new Young Widows album might be one of the best albums of the year, if not THE best.
Kate and I went to Boston last week, and it was pretty awesome. I'm resolving to actually ride my bike up there, so I kind of started plotting out routes from my apartment to downtown that might not give me complete anxiety attacks. While in Boston, Joe hooked me up with two new pedals for my bass. I tooled around with them for an hour straight at one point. Too bad I only have enough cables to hook up one at a time!
I want to hook up my SansAmp pedal to the Boss distortion pedal and see if I'm capable of breaking windows/producing the brown note.
I still have no intentions of cutting my hair, but I am considering ditching the beard for a bit. I can't go around being too hairy.
Oh yeah, speaking of Young Widows, I saw them for the fourth time last night with Coliseum. Fucking awesome.
I leave for Boston on Wednesday, for good. Well, at least until November. If you want to hang out, call me. I've given up on putting effort into people for the summer, so I'll let you do the work for a few days.
