Dinner pahty
Last night I had some of da boyz over for beef stew and Feast, a horror movie by this year's Project Greenlight team. I had already seen the movie but as I couldn't acquire my preferred title (C.H.U.D.) in time, I definitely didn't mind seeing this one again, so after I got home from work I trekked up to Blockbuster to pick it up. Thanks to prisonbitch, shimbexprovides, _decibel_, Chris, aaron1978, and Sean for a lovely evening!

Car Trouble
Sadly my engine wouldn't turn over after I walked out. After walking home, calling for a tow, and walking back to the car, it magically started up again, so I cancelled the tow and I'm going to take it in to have the starter checked... probably early next week if it makes it that long. It's been intermittently hesitant to turn over for a few weeks, but hasn't downright refused to start before.

Network trouble
All this afternoon one of our node rooms has been coming in and out of service. It of course is the node room that all my users and my servers are connected to, so we've been rather unproductive this afternoon (unless you count fielding the same phone calls over and over and over again as being productive).

Yahoo trouble
After we got the network back the first time, I found myself unable to connect to my Yahoo account with an "Invalid id or password" error. I tried CMC's yahoo account and got on without a problem. I figured maybe the wierd connectivity problems may have screwed up my password, so I tried requesting a new one and it saidThis Yahoo! Account Has Been Deactivated
Please remember that the Yahoo! Terms of Service provides that Yahoo! may terminate your Yahoo! account in certain situations, including (a) where a violation of the TOS or other incorporated agreements or guidelines has occured, (b) in response to a request by you (self-initiated account deletions), or (c) extended periods of inactivity. For full information, please review the entire Terms of Service.
Obviously this troubles me. I wonder what TOS guideline I may have violated. So I e-mailed yahoo support and hopefully they will have an answer for me. I have TONS of e-mail and photos in my account that I really would not like to lose. Screw the messenger, I don't mind starting fresh on that :D
