Winter Heat
CMC performed its cabaret-style "Winter Heat" at Hamburger Mary's this evening. I was terribly nervous about how things would go, but I think they went really, really well. Our emcee (Bruce) was hysterical and said some lovely things to introduce me. Plus both of my solo pieces ("Song For A Winter's Night" and "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park") went really, really well.
The event itself was really fun. The audience (which was pretty full) had a good time, and I think this is something that could easily become an annual fundraiser.
I know I've been journaling about nothing but chorus stuff lately but, goodness, they've been keeping me busy this month.
