Ringing In the New Year

Jan 01, 2005 10:18

I spent New Year's Eve with some great friends, ate yummy food and imbibed much alcohol. It was super.

Stopped by Cari and Dion's first, bringing brownies and charles120779's spinach dip in a bread bowl (my first bread bowl!) They had some different cheeses to try (which rocked), some awesome awesome sushi rolls, and Christine brought artichoke dip in a bread bowl. Dueling dip bowls! And we didn't even plan it that way! A few glasses of wine and a few beers later, and I was off.

Spent the rest of the evening at Aaron and Sean's. A few people I expected to see there didn't show up, which meant zero pressure for me (rawk!). They served dinner and taquitos, and a few Eric-made drinks (which means WHOOOOO BABY WATCH OUT!), and of course the second half of the brownies and spinach dip with crackers and toasted crustinis.

We played Scene It and the Truth or Dare card game, where I had to get on all fours and sniff Eric's ass like a dog, give a play-by-play of the last time I pleasured myself (that morning), admit the most perverted thing I've ever done, and moon the other players.

Stumbled home around 3:30 (no, not stumbled, I was very tired but had stopped drinking for a while).

All in all, one of the better New Year's Eve celebrations I've had, despite the difficult circumstances earlier in the day.

holidays, new year, friends
