what lola wants, lola gets...
I'm in the homestretch. Almost summertime. Last week was the last of two classes. I just have a final critique for Painting on Tues., as well as an internship meeting, then Wednesday is my final crit for drawing. Then Thurs. is my oral presentation on Museum Exhibitions. Then I'm finished and its summer. YAY! Oh!
For those of you that don't know, there will be a new addition to our family in about 2 weeks...a roly poly puppyface! I am going to go pick up Lola from Cleveland Ohio in early May to join our family. Lola is a champion-bred Boxer puppy with a brindle coat, white paws, and is sooo cute. Her daddy has been winning Best In Show for years as well as her mommy. So I hope she is a good doggy and gets along with the ever obnoxious Lilu. Lola and Lilu, cute huh? Lola will be my puppy to spoil, fuss over, and take care of, so yay for responsibility. I plan to move out after I graduate next school year, so I needed a little friend to come along. So I guess I'll have to train her to be a good dog and maybe even take her to some dogshows... though Dog Show people scare me.
Well, this summer I will be working at the hotel, interning at the nature center, and training a puppy. Hopefully there will be another trip to see Jess in Florida somewhere in there too. I'm looking forward to it all though.
