(no subject)
So here I am in Florence, Italy. It has rained every day since I arrived. Yesterday it was sunny in the morning though, so I went out wandering by myself. I walked for 4 hours, some along the Arno, got to see a bit of the Tuscan countryside, breezed through the market, then found the equivolent of our dollar store. It was wonderful, so I stocked up on stuff for the apartment. By the way, my apartment is so cool. My roommates name is Andrea and she goes to the Cleveland Institute of Art. Acroos the hall is another bedroom and thats where Jared and Matthew stay. So yeah, a coed apartment, but we get along well. We all kinda do our own thing and then take naps in the evening. I guess we still havent caught up on the time thing. We went to the grocery the second day here and stocked up. But the grocery is definitely not my favorite place. Its too hard to find what I am looking for. But I guess I will adjust. I just got out of my first class, which was Art History. We have planned trips to the countryside, Venice, and Rome. So thats all cool. Getting credit to travel. Yay! I am very glad I brought my rain boots. Those have come in handy everyday. Hrmm...guess theres not much else to say. Its hard to sleep at night because theres so much street noise and our apartment happens to be in a busy area...although everywhere seems to be a busy area. But we have some hookers that live down the street, so thats exciting. Hehe. Anywho, off to my next class, Italian. Later gators!
